About John C. Umscheid

John C. Umscheid is a general practitioner who has extensive experience helping individuals (adult and juvenile), businesses, and corporations, reach positive results in numerous areas of law and a wide variety of complex legal issues.  Mr. Umscheid has been practicing law for 12 years and has gained substantial knowledge in the areas of civil litigation, real property, wills and trusts, personal injury, however, Mr. Umscheid maintains an exceptionally high level of expertise in the areas of criminal defense and family law.

Mr. Umscheid moved to Hanford from Southern California in 2006 after graduating from law school and clerking for a preeminent Plaintiff’s firm handling high profile civil lawsuits involving mass torts, toxic torts, sexual molestations, and wrongful deaths. Upon his relocation to Kings County, Mr. Umscheid immediately began working on a wide range of legal issues that led to him representing clients in criminal, civil, family law, and estate planning matters within his first year of practice. Since that time, he has continued to represent clients who are involved with legal matters in all areas of law.
